Phil
We were in a marvellous location not too far from a vast pedestrianized public square. The room was exceptionally clean with a lovely view of courtyard. The staff was really kind, provided a fast check-in and a late check-out.
-
Joe
Polite staff, provided useful info. The breakfast was served in the restaurant.

Everything was modern, excellent location really close to the mainline shops on Gran Via, a buzzing upmarket shopping area with lots of good restuarants, theatres, big brand shops as well as food stores and local cafes and great restaurants, really really nice experience. Twin room was new-fashioned. The bed was nice and the bathroom was clean here.

Johnny
Friendly staff, terrific services, and magnificent location right by good restuarants and all the main attractions. Breakfast at the roof top.

Leon

Everything was modern, magnificent location next to a very popular shopping strip, the city center and the old town, and bars food outlets, shops and metro, incredibly nice stuff. The roof top bar was a delightful surprise.

This hotel is excellent for exploring the main parts of the city on a short weekend break. The location is superb, with a metro station across the street, although you can easily walk to most attractions. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and cafes that are open till dawn, perfect for those late-night cravings.
All was okay.

A nice place for short-time staying. The price/quality ratio's quite fair.
Had trouble communicating with the staff as none of them speaks English.

The location was perfect, room was clean and functional, Wi-Fi available and priced reasonable for Madrid.
As others have said, the staff does not speak English. There is a tourist office right outside of the hotel that can explain the city, but inside of the hostal you will need some basic Spanish to communicate.

Tony
the room was neat and well-equipped and the views on the 10th floor were lovely.

Joseph
Overall a very nice stay in 1 night. Fairly clean venue with good and incredible location so close to a square where performers usually are.

Frank
Comfy beds, daily housekeeping, convenient location, friendly breakfast staff, amazing rooftop view.
Nothing.

It was located in the centre of the city for travelling around.
Breakfast was meagre. Rooms could have done with some updating curtains not hanging properly on the rail.Very noisy room on the main Grand Via side.

Just 30 m to Metro Callao and 200 m to Puerto del Sol. Really in the middle of Madrid. A lot of restaurangs and coffeeshop around the Hotel do it easy to find some place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The hotelstuff just speak spanish. Not so easy to understand if you want to ask something. The elevators was old and doesn´t work whole time. But it was ok to take the stairs to the eight ground. The hotel adress at Gran Via makes a lot of noise at the night and evening. Take something to your ears if you have hard to sleep in noise! The securitybox at the room cost 1 Euro everytime you open it.

The location was perfect - 400 metres away from a large urban plaza. Besides, we were really close to Madrid's city centre, things to do, and museums.
